Pre-exhibition symposium for SYNTHETIC TIMES in New York, April 14 and 15.

SYNTHETIC TIMES is a joint program of the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC), MoMA, New School University and Eyebeam and will be kicked off in New York from April 14 -April 15, under the auspices of MoMA's Modern Mondays program. The symposium will open on April 14th in MoMA's auditorium, continue to New School University's Tishman Auditorium on the 15th, and close with an event at Eyebeam.

During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the National Art Museum of China will present SYNTHETIC TIMES – Media Art China 2008 in its current location at the center of Beijing. NAMOC is the only national art museum in China that is dedicated to research, presentation and promotion of modern and contemporary arts. SYNTHETIC TIMES – Media Art China 2008, scheduled from June 10th to July 3rd, will be one of the most important cultural events leading up to the Olympic Games in Beijing. MORE >
