The Organograph

ARW's proposal for a permanent, public work for the city of San José, the Organograph was selected as one of three finalists in the San José Climate Clock Initiative Competition. The three teams were selected, from seven semi-finalist teams, to move to the final residency phase of the Competition. During its residency, ARW will develop the Organograph into a site-specific work using Silicon Valley's academic, cultural and technological resources. The finalist proposals will be presented at the 3rd Biennial ZERO1 San Jose Global Festival of art on the Edge in 2010. The work from the winning proposal is expected to debut in San José in 2010.

Inflatable Architectural Bodies
Brooklyn Independent Television

Brooklyn Independent Television has produced a short documentary showing the techniques ARW uses in producing our Inflatable Architectural Bodies. The documentary is set in ARW's Red Hook, Brooklyn studio as we prepare for the Maquinas y Almas (Machines and Souls) exhibition in Madrid's Reina Sofia.

We have included a web version in the Inflatable Architecture sub-menu under "fabrication." You can also view the documentary here.
